THE BIRDS ENDORSE THE SNOW: I Heard The Birds Predict And Fo
THE BIRDS ENDORSE THE SNOW
(By Carl A. Patton, 9 January 2009)
Greetings Brethren,
Peace be unto you. The people still look to the scientist that does not know God for the way of the Wind not knowing that the Spirit moves all things that move and stand still. However once again we see the corroboration of the birds and animals of the wild acting in the will of God. However where was/is man?
I Heard The Birds Predict And Forecast The Rain
The various and calculated weather men and
women had called for much snow as one predicted
2-6 inches and some 1-4. However there was a dusting
and then several days later maybe an inch but the
ground for the most part was covered.
This reminds me of just who is in control of the elements
the seasons the rain and the snow. Meanwhile
I could not wait to get out although it was very cold
as the weather people could tell you how cold it was
and so could most people that had a thermometer.
So down along the creek I went as I relished what I
told my beloved sister Catherine as a winter wonder-
land. All the squirrels were in hiding as the temperature
dropped and the nuts gathered now must be paying off.
But the birds of all descriptions scattered all about.
What is the reason for birds that flock together? I also
saw this with ducks. However cows seem to mingle as one
brown, black and grey and those that are multi-colored. The big
dogs seem to always be at peace. Will this rub off on
humankind? But who else appreciates this great,
Beauty and majesty of the field and pasture. I see a grazing
hill and a silent but quiet tree. I long to rest there and look
down on the big dogs grazing there. Meanwhile a few ducks
came upon the creek which was Stewart’s. Just a few as the
other ducks hid but not with the squirrels.
However I appreaciated the beautiful blue, grey and maroon markings
as they played in the icy water often taking off in a short flight only
to return quickly to the water as the sky was cold. So now the snow
that was not promised was upon us as it had failed to fall several
days hence. But what did the weather people know?
Today large flakes of the wet stuff called snow fell as the
temperature dropped in the teens. The sky also cried as man
still did not see heaven. The smoke cleared and the birds
came. I saw them eating upon the snow fallen grass I felt
their satisfaction as I gave another commitment to nature.
Peace and Paradise,
